This is a brand identity and app design project for an edible cookie dough truck called Dough!. Cookie dough is an exciting, heartwarming treat for all ages, and I wanted the brand to reflect that warmth and happiness. The sketchy illustrations seen throughout the truck elicit a sense of childhood fun, and the pastel colors create a calming and soothing vibe. Furthermore, the cartoon style of the logo continues the carefree and welcoming energy.
The app design continues the brand identity with the same color palette, similar usage of sketchy, illustrated elements, and fun text callouts. Rounded shapes and corners seen throughout (such as in the icons or buttons) further the friendly and playful feel, and the white background makes everything pop while maintaining great readability and ease of usage. The app is divided into only five main sections for ease of navigation, and the order button on the bottom navigation bar is made larger than the other icons to draw the eye to the main function of the app.
