This project is my personal Etsy store, Sierra’s Pen Co. My goal for this store is to sell a variety of products based in digital illustration, such as greeting cards, art prints, and stickers, among other things. Therefore, I wanted the logo and site banner to reflect the type of product I would be selling.
The fountain pen imagery not only coincides with my brand’s name, but also draws that connection to illustration and my primary product base. And the bubbly type and retro color scheme establishes a sense of laid-back charm and levity that draws the viewer in and puts them at ease. While there is a variety in styles and color palettes seen in the greeting card illustrations, all these designs echo the laid-back charm seen in the logo and further solidify the brand identity.
